Things to do for the Holidays Carrollton TX

The spookiest time of the year has come and gone, and it’s time to settle into autumn and winter with the holiday season. There will plenty of things to do from here to the end of the year and beyond to celebrate in Carrollton TX, but we thought we’d highlight just a few of (in our opinion) the most exciting upcoming events.

Old-Fashioned Christmas

With cookies, ornament-making arts & crafts, Victorian carolers and even jolly old Saint Nick himself, the Old-Fashioned Christmas is a fun event for the whole family that you won’t want to miss. Taking place at the A.W. Perry Homestead Museum from 6-8:30 p.m. on December 7th, the event will kick off with a ribbon cutting for the Milburn Gravley Gazebo before transitioning into the night’s activities.

Santa on the Square & Kids’ Santa Dash

An all-day event, Santa on the Square will take place from 10:30 in the morning to 4 in the afternoon, with registration for the Kids’ Santa Dash kicking off an hour early ($12 pre-registration fee per participant, or $15 day of). The Dash will take place at 10:30 a.m., but Santa will be on the Square all day, with free photo strips made available alongside live reindeer, a life-sized snow globe and plenty of shopping.

Carrollton Snow Globe

The following week, on the 15th of December from 11-3, you’ll be able to visit downtown Carrollton and take a picture in the massive snow globe. A 15-foot inflatable Christmas decoration is a great experience for the whole family, just make sure to bring your own camera and someone to take the picture!

However you decide to celebrate or spend the holidays this year, we simply want to wish you a Merry Christmas & and a Happy New Year!
