The Specialty Equipment Market Association Auto Show is always one of the most popular of the year, and in many eyes, it kicks off the start to auto show season. This year, Kia has brought a host of incredible vehicles to the event to showcase just what they’re capable of, and we couldn’t be more pleased.

Customized Tellurides

First and foremost, Kia built a huge off-road course – dubbed the Torque Track – outdoors at the SEMA show for event attendees to experience firsthand the incredible, customized Tellurides they brought to the show. These four special edition Tellurides – Horizon Roamer, Cadet Leader, Desert Drifter and Baja Glider – represent the pinnacle of the youthful Kia brand, and they look like a thrill to drive.

“We surprised everyone with Telluride’s special appearance in New York earlier this year, we showed its stylish swagger on a fashion runway and now at SEMA, we are showcasing the vehicle’s more rugged side. “Of course, a production Telluride won’t be able to fly over extreme jumps like these modified versions, but we want the SEMA attendees to get to know Kia as the youthful brand we are, and we think the Torque Track does that in a very special way.”

What else?

Additionally, Kia brought a host of other modified vehicles to the popular annual event. These other models include several modified Stinger GTs, the world debut of the Forte GT trim levels, a Queensland Police Patrol Car that happens to be a Stinger itself, a Bespoke DUB K900 and a Bespoke DUB Stinger, a Forte Federation outfitted with the very best in aftermarket supplies, and finally a Forte drift car built as a team with Red Bull.

These incredible vehicles give just a taste of what Kia is capable of, and we are excited about the future.
