If you’ve been staying up-to-date with the Classic Kia Carrollton Blog, you know that we’re pretty excited about the future models our manufacturing partners may or may not be bringing closer to production. Back in April, we brought you some news about the Kia HabaNiro concept which is unique in several ways including incredible electric-only range and its gull-wing doors. But as we were scrolling through our various social media feeds, we came across something a little more tangible. What is Kia’s Real-time Emotion Adaptive Driving technology?

Kia has a lot of incredible technologies in store for the 2019 Consumer Electronics Show. These technologies are so exciting, that the brand has given us a sneak peek at some of them. All of the technologies will be combined into a ‘Space of Emotive Driving’ exhibit, with the centerpiece being the R.E.A.D. System – aka Real-time Emotion Adaptive Driving. Rather than focusing on automated driving technology, which a whole slew of manufacturers and other tech companies are currently doing, Kia is looking ahead to a time beyond autonomous driving, when connected vehicles are commonplace.
