What are the Horsepower and Torque Ratings for the 2021 Kia Forte Lineup’s 2.0-Liter Engine Option?

As we’ve pointed out many times already, the 2021 Kia Forte lineup features two engine options from which you get to choose. One of those engine options is a MPI 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine which just so happens to provide you with a horsepower rating of 147 and a torque rating of 132 pound-feet. This engine also provides you with a city gas mileage rating of 31 MPG and a highway gas mileage rating of 41 MPG.

What are the Horsepower and Torque Ratings for the 2021 Kia Forte Lineup’s 1.6-Liter Engine Option?

When we first told you about the engine options for the 2021 Forte lineup, we said one was more fuel efficient and one was more powerful. The engine option we’re about to talk about – a turbocharged GDI 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine – is the more powerful of the two. In fact, it provides you with a horsepower rating of 201 and a torque rating of 195 pound-feet. It gets up to 27 city MPG and up to 35 highway MPG.
