Young Cowboy Face while Kia Motors Teases Super Bowl Campaign with Launch of The Great Unknowns

The Super Bowl is one of the biggest advertising events of the year, each and every year. Many believe that more people watch the Super Bowl for the commercials than for the sport, as it has become known for having the biggest, the best, the most outlandish and the most star-studded commercials ever made. Big name companies push themselves further and further, shelling out tons of money – not just for the ad slot itself, but for production and casting of their commercials. No stranger to innovation, this year Kia is doing something a little different. Read the rest of this entry »

Understanding the technologies that are found in your Kia vehicle is one of the most difficult things about new vehicles like the 2018 and 2019 models you can purchase today. If you’ve never had a vehicle with Bluetooth connectivity before, figuring out how to connect your phone to your Kia vehicle can seem impossible. Even if you have, it can still be confusing to pair your smartphone with your car. Check out the first video below to learn how to connect your phone utilizing this technology. The video is a bit outdated as it was made back when Bluetooth connectivity was first available in Kia vehicles, but the technology works the same despite looking a bit old. The other two videos will show you how to do some other confusing tasks with Bluetooth technology. Give us a call with any questions you might have. Read the rest of this entry »

Kia Display Simulation of Technologies including R.E.A.D. System

Kia has a lot of incredible technologies in store for the 2019 Consumer Electronics Show. These technologies are so exciting, that the brand has given us a sneak peek at some of them. All of the technologies will be combined into a ‘Space of Emotive Driving’ exhibit, with the centerpiece being the R.E.A.D. System – aka Real-time Emotion Adaptive Driving. Rather than focusing on automated driving technology, which a whole slew of manufacturers and other tech companies are currently doing, Kia is looking ahead to a time beyond autonomous driving, when connected vehicles are commonplace. Technologies like the R.E.A.D. System will be important in that future. Read the rest of this entry »

Kia brought quite a few exciting things to the 2018 LA Auto Show this year, and we’ve already talked about two of them. The third and final new vehicle that Kia introduced at the unofficial kick-off of auto show season was the 2020 Kia Soul EV, a completely electrified version of the all-new, redesigned Soul. It makes sense that Kia’s most iconic vehicle would be one of the few to take its turn at electrification, and we cannot wait to see how successful the newest version is. It’s unclear how widespread availability of the all-new vehicle will be, but we’ll keep our fingers crossed that the 2020 Kia Soul EV will make its way to us here in Carrollton TX. Last week we covered the all-new 2020 Kia Soul that made its debut at the 2018 LA Auto Show, so this week we thought we’d cover another debuting vehicle, the 2019 Kia Niro EV! The Kia Niro EV is an all-electric variation of the popular hybrid crossover that was introduced just a few years ago. This means that drivers will have all the benefits of driving a crossover, with the added bonus of not needing to pay for gas. The release date is expected to arrive before the end of 2018, which means it could be arriving any day now. Read the rest of this entry »

The Kia brand has been making a lot of waves lately, and we love every minute of it. The record-breaking Kia Niro is what kicked everything off, but it was the introduction of the Kia Stinger that really ramped things up. Now, the entire lineup is looking sportier and more stylish than ever, and those changes will only continue to be made as Kia improves everything the brand has to offer. Next, they’re releasing an all-new, completely redesigned 2020 Kia Soul, and we’re stoked about everything that’s new in the model. Read the rest of this entry »

Things are getting even more electrified in the coming model year if the LA Auto Show is any indicator. One of them was a redesigned 2020 Kia Soul, but the other two were EV models for the 2020 Soul and 2019 Niro. Electric vehicles continue to look like the future, and we cannot wait to get more information about all three of these vehicles.
