Horsepower, Torque, City Gas Mileage and Highway Gas Mileage Ratings
One of our favorite things to do when we get a new lineup on our Classic Kia of Carrollton lot here in the Dallas-Fort Worth area of Texas is pop the hood to see what’s giving it its power. We know our customers love to do that, too, so let’s get right down to it and pop the hood of the new 2021 Kia Rio lineup. Once we do, we’ll find an efficient and fun to drive Gamma II 1.6-liter 4-cylinder engine mated to an iVT automatic transmission. This pairing is capable of pumping out a horsepower rating of 120 and a torque rating of 112 pound-feet, all while still providing you with a city gas mileage rating of up to 33 miles per gallon and a highway gas mileage rating of up to 41 miles per gallon.
