Not every model on a lineup can get a big, exciting overhaul each year, and so those other models are considered carryovers. But even a carryover can get updated with minor enhancements and small changes. One of the final carryover models announced for the upcoming model year lineup is the 2019 Kia Cadenza in Carrollton TX, and it has indeed received some small upgrades for the new year.
The Kia lineup’s flagship sedan, the Cadenza has been around since the beginning of the decade in 2010. Just two short years ago it was overhauled as it entered its second generation, receiving a completely redesigned aesthetic and much more throughout the vehicle’s interior and exterior. With a redesign so fresh in its history, another overhaul wasn’t necessary this year, hence the few minor upgrades.
Speaking of those upgrades, there were a few enhancements to both the instrument panel and the display audio touchscreen, updating the dashboard for the new model year. Outside of those small updates, the only other thing that changed was the addition of more Advanced Driver Assistance Systems.
The systems now available are as follows: Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist comes standard in the Technology and Limited trim levels, as does Smart Cruise Control with Stop & Go, Rear Cross-Traffic Collision Warning, Blind-Spot Collision Avoidance Assist – Rear, High Beam Assist, Lane Departure Warning, Lane Keeping Assist and Driver Attention Warning. Coming standard in the Limited trim level only are the Head-Up Display, and Surround View Monitor systems. And finally, standard across all trim levels are the Blind Spot Collision Warning with Lane Change Assist and Limited Parking Distance Warning – Reverse systems.
There is plenty more to get excited about in the 2019 Kia Cadenza, and if you’d like to find out more don’t hesitate to give us a call with any specific questions or schedule a test drive right here on our website to come try everything out for yourself.
