2019 Kia Forte vs. 2019 Mazda3
Kia has been praised throughout the automotive industry for offering efficient and well-equipped vehicles that occupy almost every segment. A comparison between the 2019 Kia Forte vs. 2019 Mazda3 reveals that both have been completely redesigned for the current model year. Independent reviews have pointed out that the compact 2019 Forte was designed to share a few aesthetic elements with its high-performing Kia Stinger sibling and offers a wide range of trim grades that are packed with features across the board. When the 2019 Forte stands toe-to-toe with the new Mazda3, buyers choosing the Kia compact sedan will have more technology equipped on its trim grades, better fuel economy scores and more trunk space. Having access to technology is now a must-have feature in today’s modern automotive industry. Kia has equipped all four trim grades of the 2019 Kia Forte with a smartphone-compatible infotainment system. Every 2019 Forte in the Classic Kia Carrollton showroom will be able to use both the Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™ suites of applications. Owners of the all-new 2019 Kia Forte can connect their compatible phones to the sedan and use most of their favorite apps while they’re on the road. The 2019 Mazda3 does offer a similar capability, but it isn’t available unless a buyer chooses one of the vehicle’s higher trim grades. Trunk space is another area that can make or break a compact sedan. The 2019 Forte has more than 15 cubic-feet available, outpacing the 13.2 cubic-feet of trunk volume that is offered by the Mazda3.

All versions of the 2019 Kia Forte available at the Classic Kia Carrollton showroom use the same power plant, a naturally aspirated 2.0-liter, four-cylinder engine making 147 horsepower and 132 pound-feet of torque. The engine will come with a six-speed manual transmission on the base FE trim and a continuously variable transmission on higher models. However, customer can opt for the CVT on the base version as well. Similarly, the 2019 Mazda3 uses a single four-cylinder engine option of its own. While it does make a bit more horsepower, it comes at the cost of efficiency.
A properly equipped 2019 Kia Forte will be able to record Environmental Protection Agency fuel economy estimates of 31 miles per gallon in the city and 41 miles per gallon on the highway. The new Mazda3 tops out at 26 mpg in the city and 35 mpg on the highway.
