2020 Kia Telluride wins the CUV of Texas Award

There is a reason nobody disputes the adage, ‘Everything is bigger in Texas.’ As it applies to the inventory available at the Classic Kia Carrollton, we’re choosing to believe people using that popular phrase are specifically referring to the all-new 2020 Kia Telluride. Select members of the Texas Auto Writers Association spent two days putting nearly 30 different vehicles through their paces. After it was over, and everyone got cleaned up, the TAWA announced that the 2020 Kia Telluride won the CUV of Texas Award. There is nobody worth listening to who thinks that crossover SUVs are going anywhere any time soon. Kia has shown its ready to dive further into the pool by introducing its most capable member of this industry segment to date. 2020 Kia Telluride Passenger Space, Cargo Volume and Towing Specs

Crossover SUVs are the most popular class of vehicles in the United States. Kia has been producing a diverse roster of crossover SUV platforms for several years. Our first look at the Telluride as a production model came at New York Fashion Week last year. Our second look came at the 2018 SEMA Show when Kia brought a whole host of upgraded & well-equipped versions of the SUV to display. There have been a lot of rumors circulating over the past several months, but this month saw the first true confirmation of those rumors by Kia. There will indeed be a new SUV on the Kia lineup starting in the 2020 model year, and it will be both the biggest and most refined utility vehicle to grace the lineup.
